About

Lilli (she/her) was born and raised in an extremely mid-sized town in Bavaria, Germany, and is now based in München (Munich).

Before that, in 2015, she moved to the US, California specifically, with the objective of staying for a year to learn the English. One year quickly turned into nine, you know how that goes… She spent a good chunk of that time in Seattle, Washington, where she really found her passion for storytelling and film.

She attended the University of Washington, where she studied Journalism, English Literature, Creative Writing, and finally graduated with a Bachelors in Cinema and Media Studies.

For the past years, she has taken every possible opportunity to work as a Production Designer or Art Department Assistant in independent and commercial film. Turns out she feels about the Art Department like a bear feels about honey. It’s addicting.

She has also written and directed a couple of her own projects, which mostly center around queerness, women, and trying to get your sh*t together.

She has also dappled in some digital art and graphic design for the German band “Unknown Voyage”.

Not that it matters, but Lilli is also very passionate about the outdoors, sourdough bread, and pointing out all dogs in public spaces.
